Bruce Banzhof
Bruce A. Banzhof, of Xenia, Ohio, passed away in his sleep on June 24, 2022, at the age of 76. He was born September 6, 1945, in Springfield, Ohio, and was the son of the late Robert and Helen Banzhof. Bruce graduated from Springfield High School and received a Bachelor's degree from Whittenburg University. He attended post-graduate School in Colorado for Physics and then taught for several years at Clark County Schools. After teaching, Bruce became a Respiratory Therapist for several Hospitals and Nursing Homes. He worked under Homeland Security for FEMA and assisted in training with evacuation shelters, community relations, and special needs situations. One major interest Bruce had was being active in a Historical reenactment group, including anything archery-related and making armor. He was also an active reader. Bruce is survived by his wife of 26 years, Linda Banzhof; sons, Nathaniel (Adrienne) Banzhof and Jeremy (Sarah) Banzhof; grandchildren, Lydia, Eleanor, and Nadia; brother, Mark (Rita) Banzhof; and brothers-in-law, Phil and Tom Baggett. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Countess Shara (Shirley Manley) has unfortunately passed away. She endured a partial lung removal, a mild heart attack, pneumonia, and finally spinal cancer that had spread to other parts of her body. Shara was cremated and her ashes spread on her property near Peebles, Ohio. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Robert Thomas Hagan, 47, of Fairborn, Ohio passed away on April 20, 2015. He was born October 16, 1967, in Springfield, Ohio the son of Robert M. and Ethel (Carter) Hagans. Robert graduated from the International School of Broadcasting with an associate degree and was employed at Dole Inc. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His memory will be cherished by his father and stepmother, Robert (Angie) Hagans; sisters, Nina Harris and Robbin Mickens; step-sister, Cynthia Moore; step-brother, Leonard Newby, Florida; special niece, Mercedes Harris; special friends at the SCA Organization and host of other relatives and friends. Rest in peace, brother.
Mary Garret of Seasalter
Mary Dahlberg
Mary Garret of Seasalter was well known in the community as well as her companion of 10 years, Erik the Elder (Frank Scott). On April 7, 2022, Mary suffered a stroke. Nine days later, on April 16, 2022, she passed away or as Frank said, “crossed the Rainbow bridge.” Mary was one of the founding members of Havenholde. She enjoyed archery and throwing weapons and was skilled in the arts and sciences. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
